This 1982 United States Mint Proof Set contains five coins and a token, but NO dollar coin. The coins in this set are a Kennedy half dollar, Washington quarter, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel, and Lincoln cent. This set is a great deal for newer collectors or anyone buying on a budget. This is the last year this style of sets were produced as the token was discontinued. 1983 introduced the United States Prestige Coin Set; First released in 1983 and continued through 1997 missing only one year (1985). With the cease in minting of dollar coins, the regular issue Proof Set for 1982 included a brass token.
