Why Choose This 1960 Coca-Cola Bacon and Tomato Sandwich Channel Card?

There are few other products in the world that have become a part of daily life in so many cultures like Coca-Cola. As it has been for the past several decades, it is presently the most consumed soft drink in the United States and throughout the world. The Coca-Cola Company generates billions of dollars each year and their product is enjoyed an average of 1.7 billion times per day around the world. What makes this even more intriguing, is that the story of Coca-Cola begins with just one man in the mid-1880s.

It all starts with John Pemberton. Pemberton was a pharmacist, and like many pharmacists in the late 1800s, he wanted to develop a new drink or tonic that could be served. In 1886, he came up with a winner. That was the first time that Coca-Cola was offered. The new stimulating tonic was a big hit with local customers. In fact, it was such a hit that it wasn\'t long before Pemberton split and sold some of the rights to use the formula, although he kept the rights to the name for himself and his son. However, Asa Candler wanted all of the rights to Coca-Cola and when he had them he started the Coca-Cola Company.
