Proof 69 * Cameo

Star designated coins from NGC are stunners. These coins have exceptional eye appeal for the grade. Coins with the star designation (*) can be easily thought of a superior or premium quality coins. Proof 69 coins from the middle of the 20th Century are tough to come by. Proofs are struck using polished dies and planchets. This polishing can lead to the desirable Cameo contrast between the frosty design details and the flat, reflective fields in high-quality examples.
