Why add this Mint State 1946-S Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar coin to your collection of precious metals?
The Walking Liberty Half Dollar was introduced by the United States Mint in 1916. The coin was minted until 1947, enduring a tumultuous period of 20th century American history which included the First World War, the Great Depression and World War II. The series' powerful, patriotic imagery is the work of acclaimed architectural and medallic sculptor Adolph A. Weinman.
