Classic "Funnyback" design

The obverse of this note features the familiar portrait of George Washington still in use today on the $1 bill. This issue features a bright blue seal to the left of the portrait and blue serial numbers. The reverse of the note features a large engraving of the word "one" in capital letters and the words "one dollar" superimposed over that.

Gem Uncirculated 65 beauty with Exceptional Paper Quality designation

An Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ) note is wholly original and unaltered. EPQ notes will not have been altered to give the impression of better condition. A Gem Uncirculated 65 note will be well-centered with only one or two minor distractions.
