Obverse: On the obverse is a left-side profile of a Native American wearing a feathered headdress. His image is encircled by thirteen stars, which represent the original states, and two inscriptions, "LIBERTY" and "1927."
Reverse: On the reverse, two inscriptions, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "IN GOD WE TRUST," flank an eagle. The eagle is perched on arrows that are wrapped in a branch. The name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," arches over the image, while the coin's face value, "2 1/2 DOLLARS," is noted below.
Well Preserved MS63 with Green Label
Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) graded this piece Mint State 63. That means that the coin has a slightly weak to average strike and no traces of wear. This grade comes on NGC's Green Label which is only awarded to coins that prior to being submitted to NGC for grading were first identified by the experts at Rare Coin Company of America (RARCOA) for meeting a set of strict guidelines. This specimen then underwent NGC's exacting certification and encapsulation process.
