Reverse: An eagle stands perched on a rocky crag in the early morning sun on the reverse, The bird splits an inscription of the coin's face value, "ONE DOLLAR." At the top of this face are the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and the statutory motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM," while the word "PEACE" is inscribed at the bottom.
