Why should you place this 1924 Silver Peace Dollar in your cart today?

The Silver Peace Dollar was struck by the U.S. Mint to commemorate the end of the First World War and was released to be a symbol of peace. The series was struck from 1921 to 1928 and once again in 1934 and 1935, it was designed by Anthony de Francisci and is created to be emblematic of peace. This Silver Peace Dollar was struck in 1924 and is in superb Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition.

Featuring the classic work of Anthony de Francisci

The obverse bears a left-facing portrait of Liberty wearing a radiate crown. This design mimics the imagery of Roman coinage and includes inscriptions that read, "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the date of release "1924."

Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the reverse features an eagle perched on a rocky cliff and clutching an olive branch. Including in the design are inscriptions the read, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DOLLAR," "PEACE" and the traditional American motto, "E PLURIBUS UNUM."

In excellent Brilliant Uncirculated condition

In Brilliant Uncirculated (BU), this Silver Peace Dollar has avoided the average wear and tear of normal circulation and is in excellent condition overall, with lovely eye appeal.
