Energetic Liberty for 1920s America
Obverse: Lady Liberty is the allegorical American Ideal. She is depicted here with a youthful face that reflects the optimism of 1920s America. She is wearing a tiara made of radiant light.
Reverse: The Patriotic bald eagle on the reverse is likely the most stoic in American numismatics. He holds an olive branch symbolizing Peace while keeping a sharp eye on the horizon.
MS63 with Collectible Green Label
Mint State 63 examples have decent remaining mint luster, original surfaces and all of the detail of the design devices. The Mint State 63 grade has more eye appeal than lower mint state grades. Due to storage in canvas bags in vaults, these coins will have hairlines and bag marks. They do retain significant eye appeal. This is a stunning Peace Dollar example that qualified for NGC's Green Label, meaning that prior to being certified at NGC, it was selected by Rare Coin Company of America (RARCOA) for having qualities like spectacular eye-appeal, razor-sharp strike, stunning luster, or attractive toning. Only coins that have been first subjected to RARCOA's scrutiny before also meeting NGC's authentication and certification criteria will be eligible for the NGC Green Label.
