The Silver Peace Dollar was first released by the U.S. Mint between 1921 to 1928 and then again in 1934 and 1935. The coin was issued in commemoration of the end of World War 1 and is designed by Anthony de Francisci to be emblematic of peace. This Peace Dollar was struck in 1923 and is in impressive Mint State 64 condition.

Designed to be symbolic of peace

Created by Anthony de Francisci, the obverse bears a beautiful depiction of Lady Liberty wearing a radiate crown, in the style of Roman coinage. Inscribed around the design is the date of release, "1923" the American motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "LIBERTY."

The reverse features a bald eagle perched on a rocky cliff clasping an olive branch in its talons.
