Why Order This XF-AU 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar?

Production of the Morgan silver dollar began in 1878 and continued annually through 1904. However, these coins were also minted in 1921. Mintage of these coins was actually quite high in 1921, which was also the first year of issue for the Peace dollar. The Morgan dollar shown here was struck in 1921 at the Philadelphia Mint. There were 44,690,000 of these minted. This is the highest mintage figure of any Morgan dollar.

Morgan's Timeless Patriotic Designs

These coins take their name from the artist who created the obverse and reverse designs, George T. Morgan. Liberty is depicted in fine detail on the obverse. The date is just below her in the middle of 13 stars.

The face value can be found on the reverse near the bottom of the design. There are also a number of other inscriptions on this side. The central portion of the design shows a bald eagle holding its wings high.

When you order this Morgan dollar, the specimen you receive will be graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. It will be in either Extremely Fine or About Uncirculated condition. Both of these grades are in the circulated range.
