Why add the 1907-1932 Indian Head $10 Gold Eagle Brilliant Uncirculated to your collection?

These classic United States Mint issued 1907-1932 Indian Head $10 Gold Eagle coins are available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. These coins were famously designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, the famous Beaux Arts sculptor at the dawn of the 20th Century. The force behind the redesign of the circulating gold Liberty Head coinage was President Theodore Roosevelt. These coins contain .48375 oz. of gold and were struck on 90% gold planchets. These coins were included in the 1933 gold recall. Most of the coins that were struck have been melted. Many of these survivors have spent time in bank vaults overseas.

The "Other Saint" Design

The obverse design used on the coin is a representation of Liberty wearing a feathered headdress. She appears beneath thirteen stars representing the original thirteen colonies along the coin's upper rim. There is a large obverse field to the left of Liberty. The only other element of the design is the date which appears centered at the bottom. The standing eagle pictured on the reverse holds arrows and an olive branch. This image is very similar to the reverse of the Theodore Roosevelt inaugural medal.
