Why purchase this 1904-O Morgan Silver Dollar?
The Morgan Silver Dollar series was an annual product of the U.S. Mint from 1878-1904. The coin returned for a single year of issue in 1921 before its replacement by the Peace Dollar the same year. At the time the 1921 release was minted, the New Orleans Mint had been closed for a decade, rendering this 1904-O dated coin the final Morgan Dollar release from the Mint's branch in Louisiana.
