Why does this 1902 Morgan Silver Dollar deserve a place in your collection?

The Morgan Silver Dollar is a classic early American coin and is highly-regarded for its historical significance. It was the first standard silver coin struck under the Coinage Act of 1873, this coupled with the much-applauded work of George T. Morgan and a silver content of .900 pure silver has attributed to the series long-standing popularity. This Morgan Silver Dollar was struck in 1902 and bears the "O" Mint mark from the New Orleans Mint where the coin was struck.

Featuring two classic designs!

Both faces of the Morgan Dollar where created by Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, George T. Morgan. The obverse features a portrait of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap inscribed with "LIBERTY."

The reverse features heraldic eagle fashioned after the Great Seal of the United States. The design is encircled with inscriptions that read, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the legal tender value of "ONE DOLLAR."

In Brilliantly Uncirculated condition!

This Morgan Silver Dollar has been certified as Brilliantly Uncirculated (BU), this describes a coin that has avoided the average wear and tear of a circulated coin and has maintained the original Mint luster.
