Sensational Silver Dollar Design
Lady Liberty depicted on the obverse wearing a Phrygian cap, with oak leaves, cotton bolls and wheat grains tucked behind the "LIBERTY" inscribed headband. The image is encircled by "E PLURIBUS UNUM," the date of issue "1900" and thirteen six-pointed stars.
Featured on the reverse is an eagle with an olive branch and three arrows in its grip. A laurel wreath sweeps below the U.S. national bird, ornamented with a ribbon at the center. Inscriptions include the New Orleans Mint mark "O," "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "ONE DOLLAR."
