Why Choose This PCGS MS65 1900 Morgan Dollar?
There are few coins that can claim the same level of fame and notoriety as the Morgan silver dollar. These coins were first issued in 1878 and are commonly seen as a reminder of the Wild West era of U.S. history. The silver dollar shown here was struck at the Philadelphia branch of the U.S. Mint in 1900.
Iconic Liberty Obverse and Symbolic Bald Eagle Reverse
The obverse and reverse designs are the work of George T. Morgan, that's where the name Morgan dollar comes from. The obverse shows his detailed portrait of Liberty in a cap. The date is just below Liberty.
On the reverse, a powerful bald eagle can be seen. It's holding its wings high and the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" are inscribed between the tips. A wreath partially surrounds the eagle and the face value is displayed below it.
PCGS Certified
This Morgan dollar was submitted to the Professional Coin Grading Service. Their team of unbiased experts found it to be authentic and in full gem uncirculated condition. After that, it was certified and encapsulated.
