She's facing the left, she has wavy hair and is wearing a cap. This design is the work of George T. Morgan. The date is inscribed at the bottom and forms part of the border. The work of Morgan is displayed on the reverse as well. This side shows a bald eagle with its wings high in the air as it holds a bundle of arrows and an olive branch.
