This stunning, mint state example was produced in the Mint's branch located in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1899. Imagery remained primarily consistent throughout the lifetime of the series, featuring a personification of Liberty created by George T. Morgan. Struck from 0.7734 Troy oz. of .900 fine silver, final mintage of the 1899-O Morgan Silver Dollar is reported to be 12,290,000 coins.
Breathtaking Silver Dollar Design

An eagle is centered on the reverse, with three arrows and an olive branch clasped in its talons. Inscriptions include "IN GOD WE TRUST," "ONE DOLLAR," "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the "O" Mint mark representing the New Orleans Mint.
