Why order this Silver 1885-O Morgan Dollar?

Just one mint that struck coins was in the South when the war broke out. That was the New Orleans Mint, which is represented on this coin by its "O" mint mark. That mint mark is especially powerful for this release, as 1885 marked 20 years since the end of the Civil War.

Powerful Eagle Design by George T. Morgan
Obverse: George T. Morgan's Liberty design graces the obverse. Morgan shows Liberty as an American-style figure wearing a Phrygian cap, a ribbon, and a crown of cotton and wheat. Her effigy is encircled by two rim inscriptions, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "1885," and thirteen stars.
Reverse: An eagle spreads its wings toward the rim in Morgan's reverse design. The bird holds arrows and an olive branch and is partially encircled by an open wreath. "IN GOD WE TRUST," America's national motto, is inscribed between its wings. Along the rim are inscriptions that note the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and the face value of the coin, "ONE DOLLAR."
