Powerful Patriotic Icons Depicted by Morgan
Both sides of this coin were designed by the same artist, George T. Morgan. That's where the name Morgan dollar comes from. The woman depicted on the obverse is Liberty. There are plenty of fine details to observe on her hair and face.
The mintmark is located on the reverse, it's just above the face value. The design on this side depicts a bald eagle. This eagle has its wings held high as it grasps arrows and an olive branch with its talons.
This coin received the grade of Mint State 65* from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. That means this specimen is in gem uncirculated condition. The "Star" designation indicates that this coin is particularly appealing to the eye.
