Why add this 1885-CC Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS64 to your collection?

This 1885-CC Morgan Silver Dollar is ideal for collectors looking for a Morgan in the best possible condition prior to the considerable spike in premiums in pieces with higher grades. The coin is also popular because it was struck at the Carson City Mint, bearing its “CC” Mint mark at the base of the wreath on the reverse. Inside that wreath is an eagle whose body is oriented toward the holder. Its head is turned toward the left side of the coin, and its wings spread upward in a v-formation. On the obverse is a portrait of Liberty that designer George T. Morgan modeled off of Anna Willess Williams. The use of Williams as a model is significant because it resulted in an American style liberty, a start contrast to the Greek style depictions of Liberty on earlier coins. Atop her head is a ribbon that bears her name, “LIBERTY,” and a Phrygian cap. Add this classic piece, which is .900 pure silver, to your collection today.
