Why order this MS64 DPL 1884-O Morgan Dollar?

The first Morgan silver dollars were issued by the US Mint for circulation in 1878. Today, these are some of the most widely collected classic coins. This Morgan dollar was struck in 1884 at the New Orleans Mint. Compared to other years that this design was in use, mintage was moderate. There were 9,744,000 of these minted.

Morgan's Depiction of Liberty

Both sides were designed by George T. Morgan, which is how this coin got its name. Liberty can be seen on the obverse. She has detailed hair and a cap.

The design on the reverse displays a bald eagle with its wings partially spread. It's holding a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. Below the wreath surrounding the eagle, the "O" Mint mark can be found.
