Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) graded this piece Mint State 65. To earn that grade, a coin must have been struck well and retain all of its original luster. This coin's grade comes on a green label. To earn the right to bear the Green Label, prior to NGC’s certification and authentication, coins must meet or exceed a set of standards established by a team of independent experts at Rare Coin Company of America (RARCOA) related to a coin’s luster, strike, toning, and eye appeal.
