Why order this Mammoth Mining Stock Certificate and Great Montana Collection 1883-1885-O Silver Morgan Dollars?

Incorporated in 1907, Mammoth Mining Company has played an important role in America's mining history. This product includes a crisp stock certificate from thee company, which bears images of American coins, including a Morgan Dollar, on the reverse. The three coins in this selection come from the Great Montana Collection, which bank owner Zollie Kelman started in the 1950s. One of the largest private hoards on record, its coins go perfectly with a stock certificate of a mining company that incorporated in the same state as its assembler, Montana. Each coin here was struck from .7734 troy oz of .900 fine silver at the New Orleans Mint and bears that mint's "O" mint mark.

Patriotic Liberty Design by George T. Morgan

All three coins feature the same George T. Morgan designs. On the obverse is his famous Liberty design, which portrayed her as an American-style figure. This contrasted with the tradition of portraying her as a Greek-style figure. She wears a ribbon that bears her name, "LIBERTY," a crown of cotton and wheat, and a Phrygian cap, which symbolizes freedom from slavery. Thirteen stars, one for each of the original states, join the inscriptions "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (From many, one) and the date on the rim.

The national bird, an eagle, holds arrows and an olive branch on the reverse. The arrows symbolize America's willingness to defend her values when necessary, while the olive branch indicates a preference for peace. The bird's wings form a V-shape, within which is the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST." On open wreath partially encircles the bird, while "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DOLLAR" are inscribed along the rim.

Well Preserved MS64

All three coins in this collection received Mint State 64 grades from Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). Coins in that condition have average or better strikes and show no traces of wear.
