Many releases were heavily circulated, so an example such as this one receiving a high Mint State grade is truly a remarkable find. This stunning Morgan Dollar was struck from 0.7734 Troy oz. of .900 fine silver at the San Francisco Mint in 1882, its mintage recorded as 9,250,000.

Design Symbolizing Freedom and Liberty by George T. Morgan

The left-facing portrait of Lady Liberty is depicted on the obverse, wearing a crown inscribed "LIBERTY" and a Phrygian cap, encircled by "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1882" and thirteen stars separated by the date.

A heraldic eagle graces the reverse, with three arrows and an olive branch griped in its talons. The image representing freedom and peace is inscribed "IN GOD WE TRUST," "ONE DOLLAR," "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the "S" Mint mark of the San Francisco Mint.
