Gorgeous Patriotically Themed Designs
Obverse: Lady Liberty is depicted on the obverse, wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with sprigs of wheat, cotton bolls and oak leaves. "LIBERTY" is inscribed upon the headband of the cap, while "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1879" and thirteen stars encircle the portrait.
Reverse: The reverse is graced with an eagle holding an olive branch and three arrows. A laurel wreath curves below, adjacent to the "S" Mint mark. The inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DOLLAR" frame the image, with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" located above the eagle's head.
