Obverse: Both sides of this coin were designed by George T. Morgan. That's where the name Morgan silver dollar came from, the woman pictured on the obverse is Liberty. She is pictured with wavy hair and a small cap. The date of your coin is near the lower edge of this design.
Reverse: Morgan's design for the reverse shows a powerful bald eagle. It's grasping arrows and an olive branch with its talons as it holds its wings and chest high. The face value is inscribed at the bottom of the design. If your coin has a mint mark, it will be just above the "D" and "O" of the face value.
