Why Order This XF-AU 1878-1921 Morgan Dollar?

The Morgan silver dollar is certainly one of the most popular classic U.S. coins. Many collectors are drawn to these coins because of the history surrounding them. Today many consider them to be a reminder of the Wild West era. These coins were minted annually from 1878 through 1904. They were also minted later for a single year in 1921. Each one is 90% silver. When you order this Morgan dollar the date will either be 1921, or somewhere between 1878 and 1904.

Stunning Classic Designs by George T. Morgan

While these coins are known as Morgan dollars, the woman depicted on the obverse is actually Liberty. These coins are named after the artist who created the obverse and reverse designs, George T. Morgan. The date of your coin is just below Miss Liberty.

The reverse displays a bald eagle with a very impressive stance. It's holding a bundle of arrows and an olive branch with its talons while it pushes its chest out and its wings up. The lower portion of the design is inscribed with the face value.

XF-AU Condition

When you order this Morgan dollar, the coin you receive will be in either Extremely Fine or About Uncirculated condition. These are higher-end, pleasantly circulated grades.
