Why Order This Good to Fine 1865 Six Cents 3 Coin Set?

There are a variety of coins that have been struck by the U.S. Mint over the years and today many of them are considered classic. There are 3 coins in this set with a total face value of 6 cents. All of them were struck in the same year, 1865. This set includes an Indian Head cent, a 3 cent nickel, and a 2 cent piece.

Classic U.S. Designs

All 3 of these classic coins feature designs by James B. Longacre. The obverse of the cent shows the profile of a Native American. On the obverse of the 2 cent piece a shield with arrows and a banner can be seen. The obverse of the 3 cent nickel shows a depiction of Liberty.

The reverse of each coin is where the face value is displayed. All 3 designs show the face value inside a wreath.

Good to Fine Condition

The coins in this set have been circulated and they clearly show signs of wear. The specimens offered here are in Good to Fine condition. While some details are missing, the major points of the design can be identified.
