Why add the 1800's Sheet of Uncut Obsolete Bank Notes from the Millers Bank of Washtenaw Safety Fund to your collection?
This 1800's Sheet of Uncut Obsolete Bank Notes - Millers Bank of Washtenaw Safety Fund is in exceptional condition. Notes preserved in an uncut fashion like this, particularly in such fine condition, serve as exceptional display due to their large size. This example was printed at the Millers Bank of Washtenaw, which is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Engraving by Underwood, Bald, Spencer and Hufty
This uncut sheet is comprised of four different denominations: $1, $2, $3 and $5 notes. The notes are only printed on one side with no reverse printing present. This is a remainder, meaning that the notes were never issued. The $1 appears at the top of the sheet. Each denomination has an attractive vignette at the center top of the note. Each vignette is bookended with the numerical denomination in an oval. Over the oval appear the words "Safety Fund." The denomination appears in each corner.
Choice Extremely Fine 45
This sheet of notes may have two-three heavy folds, one of which may be horizontal. Overall, however, the notes are in excellent shape, with the only tears found in the paper at the very edge, far from where a cut would happen.
