Powerful King Edward I Design
Obverse: Crowned King Edward I features at the center of the obverse. The monarch's effigy, which shows him facing the holder, is encircled by an abbreviated version of his name and title, which reads, "+ ?DW R' ANGL' DNS hyB" (Edward King of England Lord of Ireland).
Reverse: The reverse is divided by a long cross moline. There are pellets in its angles. Along the rim is an inscription of the name of the mint at which the coin was struck.
