Regal King Edward I Design

Obverse: At the center of the obverse is a portrait of King Edward I. The monarch faces the holder. His effigy is encircled by inscriptions of his name and title, "?DW R' ANGL' DNS hyB" (Edward King of England Lord of Ireland).

Reverse: A long cross moline divides the reverse. There are pellets in the angles. Along the rim is an inscription of the name of the mint at which the coin was struck.
